Former Liberty County High School basketball player Jordan McRae reached a milestone Saturday, scoring his 1,000th career point at the University of Tennessee, according to utsports.com.
Unfortunately, it was marred by the Volunteers’ 70-61 loss at No. 8 Wichita State.
McRae became the 45th Volunteer to score 1,000 career points. He led UT in scoring for the game with 26 points. McRae is averaging 19.6 points per game.
Tonight, the Volunteers (6-3) host North Carolina State at 7. It will be broadcast on ESPNU.
