Liberty County improved to 4-1 on the season Friday with its 40-19 win over Hephzibah in a sub-region matchup in Augusta.

Next week, the Panthers will welcome Glenn Hills, another Augusta team, to Donell Woods Stadium. A win against Glenn Hills, the third sub-region team the Panthers take on this year, would give Liberty a good start in the win column as they look ahead to their first region game Oct. 11 at Statesboro High.
