It was a rough evening for the local prep teams.

Liberty hosted Wayne County at Donell Woods and lost a heartbreaker by one point. The Yellow Jackets intercepted a pass which would have kept the Panthers moving toward the end zone and held on to win 14-13.

Bradwell was at Richmond Hill High School where the Wildcats celebrated their homecoming night with a 49-0 shutout over the Tigers.

First Presbyterian Christian Academy was in Cordele where another Wildcats team eanred a 50-14 win against the Highlanders.
