Tiger Touchdown Club sets first membership meeting
The first membership meeting for the Tiger Touchdown Club will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 8, at the Bradwell Institute cafeteria. All members and those interested in joining are encouraged to attend. Visit www.bradwelltigerfootball.com for more information.

Long Diamond Club sets golf tournament for team
Long County Diamond Club is hosting its first golf tournament Aug. 17, at Cherokee Rose Golf Course. Sign-in begins at 12:30 p.m. The shotgun start is at 1:30.
Proceeds will benefit the Long County Blue Tide baseball team. The fee is $60 per person. The tournament format is four-person, captain’s-choice scramble. Hole sponsorships are available for $100.
Prizes will be awarded for the top three places, closest to pin, longest drive and hole-in-one on a selected hole. For more information, call Tyler Rogers at (706) 799-1119 or email trogers@long.k12.ga.us.

Youth bowling starts on Fort Stewart next month
The Fort Stewart Youth Bowling will register bowlers 3-18 (21 if enrolled in college) years old from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sept. 7, at Marne Lanes. Those interested must be at Marne Lanes on Sept. 7 to ensure placement on a team. Play starts at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 28. Tiger Tee-Off is Saturday at Taylors Creek on post
The Tiger Tee-Off Golf Tournament will start at 9 a.m. Saturday at Taylors Creek Golf Course on Fort Stewart. The tourney format is a four-person scramble with a respectable handicap. Prizes are $300 for first place, $200 for second place, $100 for third place and a free car for hitting a hole-in-one on a select hole. Entry fees are $50 per individual and $200 per team.
