Saturday-morning youth bowling planned
Fort Stewart youth bowling will register bowlers, ages 3-18 (21 if enrolled in college), from 10  a.m.-1  p.m. Sept. 7 at Marne Lanes on Fort Stewart. The league starts at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 28.

Winter Open League to begin next month
The Tuesday Night Winter Open League is starting back up. The league meeting will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, at Marne Lanes. League play begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17. Call 767-4866 or 369-4777.

Fundraiser set
The inaugural “Shoot to Kill Cancer” sporting-clays fun shoot will begin at
8 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, at the Dorchester Shooting Preserve, 2640 Sunbury Road in Midway. The event will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night Walk. Registration is $125 per shooter or $500 per team, which includes a golf cart and lunch. Registration deadline is Friday.
A limited number of sponsorship opportunities are available. One sponsorship is available for the following areas: golf cart ($2,500), gift bag ($2,000) and lunch ($2,000).
