Annual bowling tourney on Stewart
Fort Stewart’s USBC Bowling Association annual teams and doubles championship tournament will take place April 6-7 at Marne Lanes.
Teams for the teams tournament consist of four bowlers in any combination and will compete from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. April 6. The doubles tournament will compete 10 a.m.-1 p.m. April 7. There will be two handicap-scoring divisions.

Third annual all-star game set
The third annual middle-school/freshman/sophomore all-star game will be at noon Saturday, March 2, at Midway Middle School. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children. Children younger than 5 are admitted free. The girls’ middle-school games tip off at 1 p.m., the boys’ games are at 2:30 p.m., and the freshman/sophomore games will follow. Pitch for a Cure softball tournament
Georgia Power is hosting its third annual Pitch for a Cure softball tournament Saturday, March 23, at James Brown Park in Hinesville. The entry fee is $150 per team for the all-day event. The registration deadline is March 18. All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the American Cancer Society.
