Shrine Club golf tourney set
The Hinesville/Fort Stewart Shrine Club’s 27th annual golf tournament is Nov. 17 at Taylors Creek Golf Course on Fort Stewart.
The tournament is a four-person scramble and open to men and women. Registration is $50 per person; deadline is Nov. 14. The first 100 applicants will play.

Gift of Giving to Life 5K run/walk set
The Hinesville Police Department is hosting the inaugural Gift of Giving to Life 5K run/walk starting at 8 a.m. Nov. 17. The event will benefit the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure Coastal Georgia.  Registration is $20 per person or $15 per person for groups of four or more.
