Liberty Pirates swimmer Sandra Scott continued to improve her team and individual swim times during last weekend’s 14U Sectional Championship in Charlotte, N.C.

Scott started the meet with a new Liberty Pirates team record time in the 50 butterfly with a 33.93 and 37th place out of 77 swimmers.

With just enough time to get in a warm down, she was off to the blocks again for the 100 individual medley where she swam a 1:21.15.

On Sunday, she clocked her 100-meter butterfly at 1:19.81, which was a two-second drop from her state meet two weeks ago and another team record.

She also moved up
in the standings, placing 43rd out of 53 swimmers. Scott had the opportunity to see Olympic relay gold medalist Collin Jones and had her photo taken with former Auburn coach Dave Marsh.
