In Savannah the Bradwell Institute Lady Tigers edged out a 56-50 win against staunch rival Beach High to earn the region 3-AAAAA championship trophy.

Several girls also made the All-Region team and Seandre Lee was named region player of the year.

In West Laurens the battle lines were drawn and the Liberty Panther boys fired until the very end to hoist the region 3-AAA championship trophy beating Washington County 78-65.

The FPCA Highlander boys defeated Terrell Academy 64-39 and continue to advance towards the state finals scheduled for next week.
