During the Groves basketball game Friday, Long County held its 2016 Homecoming King and Princes Ceremony.
Selected as the 2016 Homecoming King was Davis Teston, who was escorted by his mother, Vicki Teston. Davis Teston is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Health Occupation Students of America and the Journalism Club. He is also the son of Jason Teston.

Selected as the junior prince was Brett Blake, who was escorted by Ashley Cabica. Blake is a member of the Blue Tide baseball and football team. He is the son of Brian and Mary Blake.
Selected as the sophomore prince was Terry Smith, who was escorted by Gabrielle Orsini. Smith is a member of Future Farmers of America and the

Blue Tide basketball team. He is the son of Eddie and Teranisha Smith. Selected as the freshman prince was Landon Osburn, who was escorted by Aubree Strickland. Osburn enjoys playing baseball, and he is the son of Tim and Missy Osburn.

Other students on the court included John Parks, Dwight Coles III, Stephan Hugley, Mathew Strickland, Colton Zieglar, Christopher Gilmore, Brendon Scott, Javien Sims, Emil Wright, and prekindergarten representatives Dalton Lester and Avery Dibernardo
