Liberty Regional Medical Center will host its first 5K for Life run/walk Friday to benefit the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life of Liberty County.

Preregistration costs $25 through Thursday. Day-of-race registration is also $25, but participants will not be guaranteed T-shirts.

Register in person beforehand at LRMC’s gift shop or online at https://runsignup.com/Race/Register/?raceId=33523 or through SavannahRaces.com. Online registration adds a $4.50 handling fee.

Race sign-in begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Liberty County Courthouse, 112 N. Main St., Hinesville. Race begins at 7 p.m. Awards will be given for the top male and female, as well as the top three finishers in each age group: ages 10-17, 18-30, 31-40, 41-50 and 51 and up.
