After falling 13-0 at South Effingham County, the Bradwell Institute Tigers hosted the Mustangs Wednesday, but again suffered a shutout.
The Tigers fell 10-0 on their home field.
The Mustangs pulled ahead for the win in the top of the sixth inning. Already up 5-0, South Effingham scored five runs on three walks including one with bases loaded, a hit batter and a passed ball.
Mustang Tyler Pullum was 3 for 3 with an RBI, Garrett Hodges was 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs. Mustang pitcher Caleb Gonsalves picked up the win, getting six strikeouts.
Tiger pitcher Steven Harris pitched the first 5 innings, walking three and getting a strikeout. Brennan Long closed the final inning. Tigers Robert Rivera and Long both went 1 of 2 and Evan Crystal was 1 of 3 at bat.
The Tigers host Statesboro today at 6 p.m.
