Panther boys host first round of state
The Liberty boys will host round one of the state playoffs Wednesday.

The Liberty County High School boys' basketball team will host the first round of the state playoffs.

According to Panther Athletic Director and Assistant Principal Warnella Wilder, both Liberty squads qualified for the state tournament. But the Lady Panthers will have to play their first round game on the road.

The Lady Panthers play Tuesday at Veterans High School in Houston County at 6 p.m.

Wednesday the Liberty boys will host Howard High School from Macon at 6 p.m.

Admission is $7. There will be no passes allowed for the state playoffs.
