The temperature wasn't the only thing that took a dive in Liberty County Friday night. The Liberty County High School Panthers and the Long County Blue Tide both ended their seasons tonight with losses.
The Panthers lost 24-14 to Evans and the Blue Tide fell 49-14 to Tommbs County.
At LCHS the Panthers' offense took a dive with costly turnovers which the Knights converted into quick points. The visiting team trailed 14-10 at intermission but second half turnovers gave them the momentum and the 24-14 win.
The Panthers finish the season 2-8 overall while Evans ended their season 6-4 overall. Neither team qualified for the post season.
Long County finished 1-9 overall.
