Panthers break out the bats to knock off Tigers

Glemon English led off the game with a homer to left field, and Shedrick Pass added coup de grace grand slam in the third inning as the Liberty County Panthers rolled to a 17-0 win in three innings over Bradwell Institute on Friday.

Wyatt Huston added an inside-the-park homer during a 12-run third inning.

Jack Jacobson struck out three and walked two in three hitless innings.

The Panthers were helped by six Tiger errors, leading to 15 unearned runs.

English finished 2-for-4 with a double and drove in three runs, Pass knocked in five, Mikey Miller was 2-for-3 with two RBIs, Jaden Herrington was 2-for-3, Huston drove in three runs and Ezzard Jemison had two RBIs.

Bradwell finishes its season with a home-and-home against The Habersham School. Liberty plays three games in three days to complete its regular season, with its home finale against Calvary on April 14, followed by trips to Portal and Calvary.
