The Liberty County Panther football team showed their varsity strength in a 33-7 victory against the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers this past Friday. 

The football scrimmage played at Donell Woods Stadium featured the varsity teams in a preview of the upcoming season.

The first game of the season starts in two weeks as the Panthers prepare to go head to head against their cross-town rivals the Bradwell Institute Tigers.

The rivalry will play out at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 24 at Hokey Jackson Stadium at Olvey Field.
