Panthers edge out Raiders in round one
90-82 win means round 2 at home Tuesday

It was intense but the Liberty County Panther boys and their fan base can exhale after holding on to win a close one Friday at home eliminating Shaw from the state playoffs with a 90-82 victory.

Four Panthers hit double digits with Rion Brown pacing the lead with 21 points. Tucory Rhodes chipped in 20, Jordan McRae scored 19 and Greg Richardson scored 16.

Shaw player Chris Denson carried the team single-handedly scoring 38 points in the game. The vicotry means the boys get to host round two Tuesday.
