The Liberty County Panthers bounced back from a sweep at the hands of Calvary Day with a resounding sweep of Groves on Tuesday.

The Panthers improved to 10-6 with 13-3 and 18-1 romps over the Rebels. The Panthers needed just eight innings total for the sweep, with both wins coming by mercy rule, and scored in every frame.

D.J. Walker was 4-for-6 in the doubleheader, with a triple, two doubles and five runs scored. D.J. Frison went 3-for-6 with two RBIs and scored five runs, Matt Richardson went 2-for-6 with a double, a home run and five RBIs, Carlos Singleton was 3-for-6 with two RBIs and a double, Jamison Thomas was 2-for-5 with two doubles and Dillon Reddit drove in four runs.

Walker also struck out 14 in five innings in the opener, meaning only one out for the game was not by a strikeout.

Richard Quina fanned four in three innings in the nightcap.
