Former First Presbyterian Christian Academy baseball player Richard Lovelady, has been named to the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association All-Conference Second Team.
Lovelady just finished his sophomore year as a pitcher at East Georgia State College. The announcement was released Tuesday by the GCAA. Lovelady will finish his collegiate career at Kennesaw State University, which signed the left-handed hurler to a scholarship in November.
Lovelady led the conference in strikeouts with 65 in 73.1 innings this year. He played in 13 games with 13 starts, took three wins and finished with an earned run average of 3.07.
