Bradwell Institute’s Darryll Johnson was named by coaches to the boys’ first-team All-Region 2-AAAAAA basketball team, it was announced Tuesday.

JaVonte LeCounte and Justin James were named to the second team while Ronald Canty, Jr., was honorable mention.

On the girls’ side, BI’s Jasmine Blevins and Esperanza Castro were first-team All-Region 2-AAAAAA picks, Rayona Shuman earned a second-team nod and Ashanti Harris was honorable mention.

Along with making first-team All-Region, Jasmine Blevins made the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association South All State Team. She averaged 16.2 points a game this season.
