Long County Blue Tide baseball fundraiser

Southeast Georgia Basketball Camp opening

Southeast Georgia Basketball Skills Academy Camp is open to boys and girls ages 6-12. Camp is 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Thursday from Thursday through July 29 at Jordy Bacon Elementary, 100 Deen St. in Hinesville.

Each campers must bring a basketball, jump rope, snacks and lunch. Parent pick-up is at 4 p.m. each day. There is a onetime registration fee of $15 and then a weekly fee of $50.

Soccer camp planned

The Hinesville Soccer Association and Hinesville Gators are sponsoring an elite camp July 6-9 at James Brown Park for boys and girls ages 6-17.

Participants are asked to bring soccer shoes, shin guards, water bottles, soccer balls and sunscreen. Training will incorporate techniques and foot drills used by European professional soccer teams.

Registration is $150 and includes a dry-fit shirt and select game ball. Registration is available online at www.atlantacalcioacademy.com 

LCRD Baseball Camp

The 2015 Liberty County Recreation Department baseball camp runs Monday-Thursday from 9-11:30 a.m. at Liberty Independent Troop Park’s baseball complex. The camp will be conducted by the First Presbyterian Christian Academy team and coaching staff. Camp T-shirts will be issued. The fee is $30 per player. Register at the LCRD office. Registration will be open until Monday morning before camp begins.
