Lambert headed to UGA
Former Wayne County quarterback Greyson Lambert is transferring from Virginia and will finish his collegiate career with the Georgia Bulldogs, CBS Sports reported.
Lambert told multiple media outlets, including The Atlanta Journal Constitution, that he will join UGA as a graduate transfer with two seasons of eligibility remaining. Reports say he will be eligible to play immediately.
CBS Sports reported that Lambert made the decision to transfer after he slid into the backup spot for the Cavaliers following spring practice.
Last year, Lambert played in nine games with nine starts and completed 154 passes on 261 attempts for 1,632 yards. He threw 10 touchdown passes but also logged 11 interceptions. In 2013, he participated in seven games and was 33-of-75 with two interceptions and one touchdown.
Lambert’s season was marred by an ankle injury last year.

As Hagen covers in depth in the article, Miller didn’t have a normal home life. His travel-ball coach and former 14-year major-league veteran pitcher, Paul Byrd, took him in after seeing Miller’s living situation.
