Walker Middle School teachers and students recently played a basketball game to raise money for the boys and girls basketball teams.
Principal Heath Crane, who played, said each grade’s teams had a playoff to determine which would take on the teachers.

After all of the playoffs, the teachers played the sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade teams, all back-to-back.

“Man, these kids love this, getting out on the court to take on the teachers, that just is something else to these students, and the teachers enjoy it too,” Crane said.

He said everyone at the school looks forward to the annual games.
