Liberty team places second at golf tournament

The Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club Golf Tournament was held Sept. 29 at the Wilmington Island Golf Course. A Team representing the Boys and Girls Club of Liberty County placed second. The team members were William Bowman, Jason Perry, Josh Gordon and Ernest Ray Lee.

“We had a great time,” Lee said.

The Liberty County Boys and Girls Club Tournament was scheduled for April but, it was postponed due to COVID-19.

The tournament will be rescheduled at the Cherokee Rose Country Club in Hinesville. All proceeds will go to support our local Boys and Girls Club.

“We are working hard to complete everything for our local club,” said Edna Walthour the Liberty Boys and Girls Club Director.
