Tide defender Brandon Hadley puts his shoulder down and prepares to wrap up a Benedictine runner in Friday’s 45-10 loss at home. The lone touchdown for the Blue Tide came from Miguel Hernandez early in the game, but the Cadets’ running ability had the visiting squad up 24-10 by half time. The defeat was the third 2-AA loss for Long County High School and their fourth loss of the year. The Cadets’ Region 2-AA mark is now 2-0 and their hope for an undefeated season is still alive.
