Though the season is over for the Long County High School softball team, it won’t be that long until the girls are back on the diamond, doing their best to bring home a region championship.

To support the squad, the Elite Diamond Boosters are selling $1 raffle tickets for a chance to win a six-foot deluxe Christmas stocking. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from any member of the team or booster club. They are also available at Town and Country Beauty, Floral, Tanning, and Gift Shop in Ludowici.

The drawing will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, at the gift shop. Ticketholders do not need to be present to win. The winner will be contacted.
