Tigers kick off their season

Bradwell Institute is a scrimmage and two games into its soccer season. The Tiger teams hosted Wayne County in scrimmages Feb. 2. The girls won 1-0. The Lady Tigers opened the regular season at Ware County, where they lost 5-0 Tuesday. Friday night, the Lady Tigers hosted Coffee and won 3-1, according to maxpreps.com.

Tiger girls soccer coach Scott Akin said Sara Hause scored two goals and Dayle McCallar scored a goal.

"The kids played great and controlled the entire second half," he said noting that Monique Haynes provided an assist on McCallar's goal. 

The Tiger boys ended ttheir scrimmage against Wayne County tied 3-3. Against the Ware County Gators, Bradwell won 3-2. Friday night against Coffee, the Tigers pulled out another win, defeating the Trojans 2-0. The first goal was scored by Tiger Ryan Wells. Tiger Xxavier Clyde scored the Tigers’ second goal.
