It’s going to be a great week for local Bradwell, Liberty County, Richmond Hill and LCRD football fans on Low Country Radio. For the first time in the Hinesville schools’ histories, both teams have won first round playoff games in the same year. There will be several other “firsts,” this week, on Lowcountryradio.com.

LCR hosts the live, weekly broadcast of “The Coach’s Show,” from Chilis. As always, the show begins at 7 p.m. But this time, there will be a special $200 give-away to the team with the most fans there. Below are the rules:

1.      Head count at 8:00

2.      Must be wearing team colors

3.      Must have a food order

4.      Winning team must have at least 15 fans

Bradwell won the first LCR give-away, last week. Show host Charlie Moon believes Chillis may be packed this time around.

“Last week was a first-time thing,” Moon said. “It was pretty much just Bradwell coaches and a couple fans there. But I know Coach Warner has different plans this time around. He’s already told me his parents and fans are jacked up and want to pack it up with Panther pride!”

Friday 5:30 p.m. call-in show and Bradwell football at 7:30 p.m. at Northside

Last Friday, LCR aired the first ever call-in show for area fans. They’ve hosted the “Coach’s Show,” from Chilis, all year, but it was for talking X’s and O’s with coaches and players. Friday’s call-in show was for Bradwell, Liberty County and Richmond Hill fans, on their way to their respective games.

Moon said, “It went pretty well for the first time. We even had a few happy Bradwell fans call in after the big Bradwell win. (BI lineman)Madria’s mom and BI staffer Cordette Stevens were having their own LCR-Listening parties, I guess. Madria’s Mom and Stevens called in and they were doing BI cheers with a bunch of happy ladies behind them.  And former school psychologist Jennifer Rafferty and her family called in after the big win, too. It was truly a great night for Tiger nation.”

LCR will do the same thing this Friday. Bradwell, Liberty and Richmond Hill fans can call in at 803-622-3808, to talk serious football or just to give their teams shout-outs and good luck.
