TournamentBrackets

The 24th annual Donell Woods Basketball Tournament is Saturday. The tournament showcases junior varsity and ninth grade teams.
In the boys division, teams from Bradwell Institute, Liberty County, Johnson, Jenkins, Windsor Forest and New Hampstead will compete.

The girls division features Bradwell, Liberty, Camden County, Brunswick, Wayne County and New Hampstead teams.
The games will be played at the gyms at Bradwell, and Snelson-Golden and Lewis Frasier middle schools.

The tournament is named after former Bradwell basketball coach Donell Woods, who, at the young age of 40, succumbed to cancer. He began his coaching career as the football coach of the old Liberty County High School and was honored posthumously by having the new football stadium at the new LCHS named after him.

The games are open and free to the public.
