Liberty grad is SSU homecoming attendant

SAVANNAH — As part of the 2009 homecoming celebration, Tierenee Raeshaun Roberson was crowned Miss Savannah State University 2009-10 on Oct. 29. Brittany Jester and Jasmine Raglin were named Roberson’s first and second attendants. Queens representing approximately 50 campus organizations attended the ceremony at the school’s Tiger Arena.
Roberson is a 2006 graduate of Stephenson High School in Stone Mountain. The Savannah State Concert Choir member is also a Tiger Ambassador in the office of admissions and recruitment
Jester, a graduate of Liberty County High School, is a senior mass communications major. She is vice president of Sisters Striving for Excellence, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Delta Nu Chapter and the campus chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists. Jester is also a member of the Mass Communications Student Association, Ladies of Venus and Elegance Modeling Troupe and Players by the Sea.                
Born in Honolulu and raised in Suwanee, Raglin is a senior behavior analysis major. She is active in Sisters Striving for Excellence, Lighthouse Project and Golden Key Honor Society.
