Derek Kwaku Duodu was born at 5:15 p.m. April 6 to Benedicta (Fynn) and Kwaku Duodu of Hinesville.
Born at Liberty Regional Medical Center, baby Derek weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and measured 20 1⁄4 inches.
He is the maternal grandson of Stephen and Grace Fynn of Kumasi, Ghana. He is the paternal grandson of Kofi Akenteng and Elizabeth Asamoah of Riverdale.
