Kayla Ny’Zhia Thomas was born at 9:04 a.m. March 7 to Keya (Grant) and Shayna Thomas of Hinesville. 
Born at Liberty Regional Medical Center, baby Kayla weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and measured 19.5 inches.
She is the maternal granddaughter of David Grant and the late Carolyn Hamm of Riceboro.
The baby also is welcomed by sisters Keyera Grant and Ny’Zariah Thomas and brothers Kordell Grant, Keon Grant and Nihiem Thomas.
