Farmers market restarts in March

The Hinesville Downtown Farmers Market staff has announced the return of the spring market, which will be held from 4-7 p.m. each Thursday from March through April in downtown Hinesville.
The spring market is an optional, bonus market for seasonal vendors. Vendors and products will vary from week to week, including spring produce, custom-made wood products, herbs, eggs, baked goods, agricultural items and sweets.
The Market will be held in Bradwell Park on the corner of M.L. King Jr. Drive and Commerce Street. Parking will be available on Commerce and Main streets and in public lots in the downtown district.
Applications are being accepted for market vendors, crafters, nonprofit organizations and entertainment and can be found at hinesvillefarmersmarket.org.
“We know our community loves the produce and agricultural items associated with the Spring Market. The vendors and our staff are thrilled to bring it back for a third year, giving families an extra opportunity to buy the fresh produce and support local farmers,” said Katrina Barrow, program assistant for the Hinesville Downtown Development Authority.
Preparing for the regular market season, which begins in May, shoppers can expect the return of Second Thursday Nights in the Park, Demo and Samples and the return of the Fall Market in November.
