Beginning Monday, Oct. 7, the Fort Stewart PX Refill Pharmacy will fill all new prescriptions from civilian providers in addition to continuing to serve as the primary refill prescription pick-up location. This change should decrease customers’ wait time at the Winn Army Community Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy, which will continue filling prescriptions for patients seen at Winn ACH.
In addition, patients using the PX Refill Pharmacy will be able to pick up prescriptions later that same day instead of waiting while they’re filled.
The Fort Stewart PX Refill pharmacy is in Building 419 next to the Fort StewartFurniture Store. It opened in August, replacing the previous location inside the Fort Stewart PX. The new store is three times larger than the old refill pharmacy and includes an additional customer-service window, bringing the total number of windows to four.
