Editor, Congratulations to Sheriff Steve Sikes on his election  as sheriff of our fine county.
Now the hard work and openness starts. A person of honesty and integrity will not bow down to individuals or groups of special interests.  I have confidence that you will do what’s right for the citizens who elected you. 
It is the voters’ duty to vote for a person who is of the highest moral character and who possesses the ability to do the job. 
  Our country was founded by true statesmen. Now we are being governed by “politicians.” It’s time to turn the clock back.
