Editor, Mr. Mickey Bayens at the Liberty County Transportation Department is a very dedicated, committed and well organized director. He has a great secretarial staff that labors to help lighten his workload.
Mr. Bayens makes sure all mandatory procedures, laws, rules and regulations are followed by the department to protect all drivers, students and every fellow highway citizens.
All bus drivers are well trained by two of the very best professional instructors: Mr. James Ford and Mr. George King, who are always expressing safety first. Thank you both for the long hours, days, weeks, months and continually training throughout the year. You are truly loved and appreciated by all of us.
All bus drivers, transporting our community’s children, are greatly appreciated by the department. Each bus driver is committed to safety and teamwork. All drivers are committed to helping one another before the sunrises and before the sunsets. They have love and concern and are always supporting one another and looking out for the safety of everyone.
The mechanics are dedicated to keeping all buses maintenance updated. The mechanics are hardworking and professional about their duties. Their jobs of keeping the buses safe is first priority that grades excellent. They are so busy and yet they pitch in to help drive routes where needed.
It’s a great place to work.
