Fishing classes
Fishing enthusiasts are invited to enroll in Captain Judy’s inshore, offshore and fly-fishing courses coming up Feb. 2, 9 and 16 at Tubby’s Tank House at 2909 River Drive in Thunderbolt. Captain Judy provides all the material and a continental breakfast and buffet lunch are included in the $90 cost. For more information call Miss Judy Charters Captain Judy Helmey at 912-897-4921.

Creative movement, for ages 2-1/2 to 4 years, is every Wednesday from 4:05 to 4:35 p.m. At the Liberty County YMCA. This class teaches body movement and creativity. Intro to dance, for ages 5-9 years, is offered every Wednesday from 4:45-5:30 p.m. This class teaches technique, terminology and covers jazz, hip-hop, ballet and many others. and field, soccer
Registration for Fort Stewart Youth Services track and field is underway and will continue as long as slots are open. Youth track and field is open to all CYS members, both boys and girls, ages 7-14 (age cutoff date Dec. 31, current year). For more track and field information, call 767-9270/980-2451.
Registration for youth soccer begins Feb. 4 and will end on March 17, or when slots are full. Youth soccer is open to all CYS members, both boys and girls, ages 4-13 (age cutoff date April 1, current year). For more soccer information, call 767-4371.
Register for the above sports at Fort Stewart’s CYS, Bldg. 443, Gulick Ave. (next to Corkan Pool). Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-6 p.m. (9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Wednesday), telephone 767-2312. Sports registration is free to children of any parent currently deployed.

The Liberty County Armed Services Family YMCA is offering American Red Cross lifesaving courses once a month. For information, call 368-5302. YMCA members get a discount price.
