Middle school all-star tourney set

The Southeast Georgia Report Top 20 Middle School All-Star Tournament will be Saturday at Midway Middle School. Play will feature the top girls and boys from the area. 2012 Coast 2 Coast tourney scheduled

The 2012 Coast 2 Coast Basketball Tournament, an AAU for Super Regional qualifier, is accepting registrations until Friday. The tournament will be March 9-11 in Jacksonville and is open to fourth-10th grade girls and third-eighth grade boys. Call Chris Stacy at 695-0481 or e-mail cstac38@yahoo.com

District recreation tournament here
The Liberty County Rec Department will host the Georgia Recreation & Parks Association district basketball tournament at Charles Shuman Recreation Center Friday and Saturday. Games are for 10-and-under boys and girls. There will be teams from Liberty, Wayne, Ware and Camden counties, Douglas and Fort Stewart. To get involved call 876-5359
