Taekwondo/martial arts classes

The St. James Sports Center will offer taekwondo and martial arts classes in February. Registration is under way and is open to all ages. Classes will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays. Donell Woods
Memorial Tourney

The annual Donell Woods Memorial Tournament is Jan. 15 at Bradwell Institute, Lewis Frasier Middle School and Snelson-Golden Middle School. The annual tournament showcases ninth-grade and junior varsity teams. Admission this year will be free.
The junior varsity boys will tip-off at 9 a.m. at Bradwell Institute. The ninth-grade boys will tip-off at 9 a.m. at Lewis Frasier Middle School. The junior varsity girls will tip-off at 9 a.m. at Snelson-Golden Middle School.

YMCA Ultimate
Fitness Challenge

The liberty County YMCA is taking registration for the Ultimate Fitness Challenge which begins Jan.  24. It is open to everyone ages 16 and up. Available time slots are 5:30 am, 9:15 am and 6:30 p.m. For more information call 368-9622.
