Anna Huerd of Hinesville and Patrick Huerd of Ludowici announce the engagement of their daughter, Brandy Lynn Huerd of Hinesville, to Patrick Ryan Eastlake of Hinesville, son of Sharyl and Jeffrey Eastlake of Hinesville.
The bride-to-be is a 2010 graduate of Bradwell Institute and is attending Georgia Southern University with a major of health and physical education. She is scheduled to graduate in 2014.
Her paternal grandparents are Donald Huerd and Wanita Huerd (deceased) of  Williams, Minn. Her maternal grandparents are Gladys and John Ensling of Hinesville and William Wells of Glennville.
The groom-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Liberty County High School and earned a degree in geoscience from Valdosta State University. He is pursuing a master’s degree in education at Georgia Southern and is scheduled to attain the degree in 2014.
His paternal grandparents are George and Edna Eastlake (both deceased) of Detroit. His maternal grandparents are Jane and William (deceased) Pullam of Clarksville, Tenn.
The couple will be married July 6 at Inn at Still Pond in Axton with Christian Anthony officiating. A reception will follow at Inn at Still Pond.
