Choir sings for Goldenheirs

Goldenheirs enjoyed a program of music by the Jubilee Choir at their July meeting at Hinesville First Baptist Church.
Elaine Walker is choir director and Betty Dunham is pianist for the group. Special guest Elizabeth Cadman played the keyboard and sang “God Bless the U.S.A.” and “What a Wonderful World.”
Cadman is the daughter of Mark and Sherri Cadman of Savannah.
The Jubilee singers presented a skit called “God’s Rainbow” and musical selections ending the program with “America the Beautiful.”
Goldenheirs is a senior group that meets the first Tuesday of each month in the social hall of the church for a covered dish lunch at noon and a program later. All seniors are invited to attend and enjoy the fellowship.
Downtown Development Authority Director Vicki Davis was to speak at the August meeting.
Jubliee Choir is a senior choir at First Baptist that practices at 4 every Tuesday afternoon.
