The Hinesville Area Arts Council will host its annual Cupcake War from 5:30-7 p.m. Sept. 8 at the Hinesville Area Arts Council Gallery.

Team registration is underway. Contestants are responsible for making and bringing 300 decorated mini cupcakes for the public to sample. Judging is points-based on creativity, taste and originality. First, second and third place awards will be determined, as well as a People’s Choice Award by a vote by people at the event.

Tupperware takeout containers are not allowed. The event is free and open to the public.

Teams may register by emailing the completed registration form to Kasey Bozeman at kaseyb@uga.edu. Space is available on a first come, first serve basis.
