The Liberty County Chamber of Commerce held a grand opening, 10-year anniversary and ribbon cutting on Wednesday for Diversity Health Center at their new medical facility located at 502 East General Stewart Way in Hinesville.

Stephanie Jones-Theaker, CEO of Diversity Health Center, welcomed staff, city officials, patients, advisory board members and the community to celebrate their 10 years of service to Liberty, Long and surrounding counties at the grand opening of their third location. Mayor Allen Brown, spoke and thanked Diversity Health Center for their contribution to help meet the needs of the community of Hinesville. Chairman Donald Lovette, spoke and congratulated Diversity Health Center on their third location saying, "Let’s be healthy Liberty County!"

Diversity Health Center is proud to serve a large population of patients regardless of age, income, health insurance, place of residence or ability to pay.

Jones-Theaker explained, "The new office will offer more exam rooms, additional waiting room area and the same great quality service. Diversity will continue to offer its service on a sliding fee discount for the uninsured where no patients will be turned away for their inability to pay."
