The Apostle Paul wrote to his student Timothy and reminded him in 2 Timothy 1:5 that his grandmother and mother were living out an example before him. He said, "I am reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also." Most likely it was their influence that helped Timothy make a decision to follow Jesus Christ.
