The excitement is building. Extensive planning and coordinating have gone into this conference.
The 2015 Pastors and Administrators Conference will take place Thursday through Saturday at Live Oak Church of God, 296 Live Oak Road in Hinesville. This conference continues to be one of the largest conferences in Liberty County.
The theme for this year’s conference is “reFresh.”
“This is an instructive conference for pastors, church administrators, administrative staffs, ministry leaders and layperson,” conference coordinator Elder Daisy Jones said.
Jones and Minister Brianne Felton, of Fellowship of Love Church of God in Christ, serve as leaders of the Pastors and Administrators Conference. Jones said there are many reasons to attend the conference.
“We have a platform of dynamic speakers and presenters to give you a broad spectrum of thought and support,” Jones said. “The entire church’s leadership team can learn together. They can come and learn and explore ways to meet the challenges you face.  
“The conference also provides opportunities for attendees to interact with a diverse group of leaders,” she continued. “Attendees can take home practical tools and information to use the right way.”
The 2015 Pastors and Administrators Conference starts at 6 p.m. Thursday with Elder Gwen Abney leading the intercessory prayer. Elder Jerry Sapp and the Dream Choir will sing, along with Minister McKinley Sartin.  
The 7:30 p.m. worship service will feature international recording artist and evangelist Dr. Dorinda Clark Cole of Detroit. Jonathan Jones of Higher Dimensions Church will be the psalmist.
The conference continues at 6 p.m. Friday with intercessory prayer by Pastor Katrina Deason, followed by the opening plenary, “Time Sensitive,” with Pastor Christie Conyers. The 7:30 p.m. workshop will feature Bishop Marvin Winans, international recording artist and pastor, from Detroit.  
The conference culminates Saturday with a welcome coffee at 7:30 am, followed by “reFresh: The Altar,” with Apostle Bobbie J. Adkins. There will be several morning workshop sessions: “Orchestrating Change: People, Process, Product,” conducted by Pastor Andre Osborne; “Identifying Emerging Leaders” by Pastor Charles P. Roberson, “Women and Ministry” by Evangelist Pamela Chenevert; “A Man’s World” by Elder K.E. Clark; and “Rethinking the Possibilities” by Bishop Leonard Gibbs.  
Saturday-afternoon workshop sessions will feature Bishop Julian Jones, “Pastors”; Pastor William Williams, “Administrators”; Elder Cynthia Bryant, “Evangelism”; and Elder Anthony Johnson, “Youth.” Bishop Israel Aaron, pastor of Live Oak Church of God, will preach the closing message at 2:30 p.m.

Final deadline to register is Friday. Registration is $55 per person and includes preferred seating and conference materials.
