Pleasant Grove AME Church of Hinesville is at 1450 W. Oglethorpe Hwy. Sunday school is at 8:30 a.m., with worship service at 10 a.m. Bible study is at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evenings. The church’s annex, which was to serve as a temporary church while a new one was being constructed next door, suffered fire damage in March and has yet to be rebuilt.
