The American flag was the topic of discussion during the Goldenheirs’ March meeting.
The “National Sojourners” — Wayne Barnes, Wally Crews and Charlie Deloe — presented the program. They started with a “Build the Flag” segment and described the stripes, which represent the first 13 Colonies.
The Sojourners travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic states, presenting their program to educate people on the flag.
Goldenheirs meet at noon the first Tuesday of each month at First Baptist Church, 220 E. Memorial Drive in Hinesville. All seniors are invited to attend the covered-dish lunch May 7.
