Hinesville District 4 City Councilman Keith Jenkins and Hinesville Crime Prevention Officer James Williams conducted a self-defense lesson Sept. 7 for nearly 20 members of the Goldenheirs. The members learned about tactics and techniques to defend themselves and visited with representatives from the city of Hinesville.
The Goldenheirs is a senior group that meets at noon on the first Tuesday of each month in the social hall at Hinesville’s First Baptist Church for a covered-dish lunch and a program. All seniors are invited to attend.
