The Georgia Southern Theatre and Performance Program is performing “The 1940’s Radio Hour” through Nov. 14 at the Black Box Theatre in Statesboro.

Show times are 7:30 nightly and 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11.

The musical centers on a live broadcast of a variety show from the Hotel Astor in December 1942. The variety show’s producer deals with a drunk singer, a boy who wants a chance with the mic and a trumpet player who chooses a fighter plane over Glenn Miller.

Tickets are $5 for students, faculty and staff. General-admission tickets are $10 apiece.
