Retired Navy dentist joins practice

Howard Family Dental recently announced that Dr. Thomas A. Cade joined the practice at its Hinesville location.
Cade originally is from Huntington, West Virginia, and completed his undergraduate studies at Marshall University, where he studied biological sciences. He later graduated from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry.
Cade brings extensive military experience to Hinesville; he recently retired from the U.S. Navy after 30 years of continuous service.
He served on seven ships, including a submarine, and also spent 15 years with the U.S. Marines.
Cade has traveled extensively with the military, navigating through Europe, the Middle East, Central America and South America.
During his time in the Navy, he served as the staff exodontist, providing him with significant oral surgery experience.
Cade enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathy; three children, Joseph, Jennifer and Rebecca; and two grandchildren, Gabriel and Abigail. His other hobbies include model railroads, reading and biking.
Before entering the Navy, Cade owned a private practice in West Virginia for six years.
He said he enjoys working with his hands and fixing things.
“I am looking forward to continuing my professional career in dentistry, and I am honored to serve the community of Hinesville,” Cade said.
